MDiv program needs...

Dear friends and family,

I am writing to you again in regards to our Masters of Divinity (MDiv) students here at ABC.  As many of you know, we started this program in August of 2012.  The program has given us (staff members) the opportunity to train and mentor local Malawian pastors who are already serving in various churches throughout the country.  As a part of the program, we offer intensive leadership training, in-depth theological instruction and one-on-one mentorship.

Anyway, the four students (Allen, Maurice, Gideon and Popapo), who are currently enrolled in the program, are really struggling to pay their tuition.  So, I am writing and asking if you or anyone you know would be willing to contribute financially to help these men continue with their program.  They have about three semesters left, and they pay roughly $900.00 in tuition per semester (including books). And on average, each of them are about a semester’s behind on their payments, with another semester only a few months away. 

So I am asking if you would like to contribute financially to their tuition, anything would help.  If you are interested, you can send any amount to our ABC office in Mississippi.  Make sure to write “MDiv Tuition” on the memo line of your checks.  That will ensure that the money gets to the right place.  I will then (personally) distribute the money according to the needs of each student.  Let me know right away how much you would like to contribute so we can credit their accounts immediately.

I wouldn’t be writing this letter unless I personally considered this to be a very pressing and time-sensitive issue as well as an amazing opportunity to contribute to something that can really make a difference.
