Proud mama moments!

So my almost 12 year comes home and tells me that she has been talking to her friend who is a muslim about what the difference it is between Christianity and being a muslim.  Love that she is willing to go out of her comfort zone and risk not knowing all the answers but start the conversation!  She said that many of her close friends told her that she shouldn't be talking about that with her muslim friend but she reminded them - if I don't...who will!  Then to top it off she told me that she knows that we share about our life with Jesus and has heard us do it... that is why she felt compelled to do it herself.  She told me that she didn't have all the answers but she thought it would be better to ask her questions to get her thinking.  

OH MY  - PROUD MAMA AM I!  

Here is another moment to share!  Here is my mama and my sweet Tina!  She has finished her MBA and is working for a non profit organization that fights for the poor and uninsured!  She has gone to more rallies and meeting that invest in people than I can count!  She is waiting for her work visa and so patiently daily plugging into what she has been given!  So thankful to be apart of her life!
As for my mama- I am soooooo thankful to have that amazing support and backbone as we are on the other side of the world.  I am truly blessed to have such amazing parents!  May I be such an encouragement to my sweet chickens!
